In terms of defensive ability outstanding, however he doesn't have much in his locker in terms of offense bar a jab.

i would refer you to the vargas fight where he was trading with him and gave as good as he got. i think his knowledge of boxing and technical ability is what allowed him to hold his own against tito, mosley, vargas, taylor and hopkins.

calderon isnt exactly the greatest offensive fighter either. wright has far more ko's and higher %

Fair enough, he hasn't shown a lot recently though. Not that he's fought much recently. :-(

yeah, the whole coming to fight against b-hop slogan was always gonna be a let down, lets face it at times they can both be negative at the best of times!

i would love to see winky against pavlik just to see whether winky could be ko'd or whether pavlik could be schooled like tito!

Kessler has many flaws when he goes on the defencive. He jumps straight back with his hands down all the time. A big no no in the boxing textbook.

Who would you pick in that match up?

Personally I feel if Winky has a tune-up first to regain his conditioning and goes into the ring focused he schools Pavlik, too predictable and a big target aswell.

i think winky could win, but kelly is only getting better as time goes on, whereas winky gets older. but like i said he has coped with big men in taylor and b-hop even with a **** off cut!

it would be a classic case of attack V defence
