yeah that is true - he could be doing more and in alot of ways he is making the rift between white and black wider. But he is doing something which is alot more than others. I just wish we had some more Cathy Freemans around to help out
yeah back to the topic :good Danny is a really caring bloke and great to see him brightening a kids life whilst he was alive. I wish more people would take time out from their busy schedules to do something nice like he did. I once met Sophie Delizios *spelling* parents at the hospital when i had shoulder surgery and they said Danny had been very supportive to them as well. If i remember rightly he dedicated the Mundine-Green fight to her? A very selfless bloke and a great Aussie! :happy
She was apparently going to be leading Green out to the ring for the Mundine fight, but then had her second accident...poor little kid, she's had to endure a hell of a lot, and still keeps smiling. Greens niece died of cot-death a few weeks before the Mundine fight too :-(
TOP ARTICLE... Boxing aint **** compared to what that lil fella went through..Im sure danny's wellwishing would of helped him fight for as long as he did.. Goodluck danny hope you can put on a good showing...
Nice act , but going to the media is a dud act in my view. I always question people who do their good deads in public.
Good read. Green, Mundine, and Briggs have done a lot for charity over the years. Green's good deeds usually end up in the media, but he doesn't seem like the king of guy who'd only do it for good publicity.
gunter your a goose! im a huge believer un mundines talent and think he will capture more titles for what its worth, but realy time and place for support and not nuthugging. just what we need another bloke to end all threds wit the same mindlesss argument! this thread was not about mundine just a goodstory about a young fella outa luck. mundine vs green is over so why are we still talking like its this weekend!
dont you love the way he says "Don't forget you heard it from me first." now **** off and give choc another rim job
Awesome story. Working with kids and actually giving up their time earns so much more respect in my books then just forking out cash. Would be heartbreaking stuff to see. Hopefully Green can draw some inspiration out of it all for his upcoming Griffin fight.
Great article, not surprised Danny is a caring guy outside the ring. Had the pleasure talking to him at the Glen Kelly v Paul Briggs fight and he was a top bloke.
