Good fight and a good win for Shane. But this fight basically showed me that he's getting up there in years. He just doesn't pull the trigger anymore. There were rounds there where he was just virtually inactive.

He better stay the hell away from Margarito if he knows what's good for him.

 

margarito beats mosley,hes got a good chance a scoring a ko but shane is a veteran & knows how to survive in hard fights.so id say tony ud.

 

i agree that margo would beat shane.

shane would tough it out though i reckon.

he'd need to stick and move to have success against margo and he's never been one of those. :bbb

 

On paper is one thing I am one who wants to see Margo and Mosely and think Mosely has a great chance! bring it on if anyone deserves a shot its Mosely. Guy has never ducked anyone and always fought the best and taken the challenges. Why not Mosley vs Margo. For all he has done he deserves a shot.

@ JM22 - I don't think Mosley would get knocked out. Mosley's chin is iron, and Margarito isn't the biggest puncher he has faced. He wouldn't get knocked out, he would get stopped however though because Margarito would overwhelm him by setting a high-tempo and keeping it up consistantly.

Yeah because Paul and Mosley are so much alike.

Do you even bother to look at the matchups?

1. Margarito is taller and 4/5 of Mosley's loses are to taller fighters

2. Magarito's late career loses are to boxers or on cuts; Mosley is no boxer.

3. Mosley brawls to much not to get hit.

4. Margarito is a lot more accurate and active than Mayorga who landed plenty on shane.

5. Mosley has been befuddled by 2 lesser pressure fighters in Cotto and Mayorga.

6. If Mosley can't keep lesser chinned Cotto and Mayorga at bay what makes you think he can keep Margarito away?

Mosley does have a great chin and I'm not sure he would get KO'd but he would get hit so much he would be forced to back away and lose plenty of rounds.
