Great fight coming up... Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz

    Although i never like to see two of my favorite boxers squaring up, this should be a very interesting fight. I was very impressed with Diaz' performance against Katsidis, who gave Casamayor hell. He showed a very high workrate, good defence, technical supremacy and fast hands. The only thing he really lacks is big one punch power.

    Then you have Marquez, who has also shown to be a fantastic fighter. The fight with Pacquiao could've gone both ways, and he dispatched of the Cuban legend Casamayor with more ease than i expected, despite coming off a hard fight with the p4p #1.

    Really looking forward to this one, february 28th on HBO. What are your picks?

    I think it will be a closer fight than most here think. Alot of people are underestimating Diaz, though I still favor Marquez to win.

    I think Diaz style is taylor made for Marquez. Hes going to keep coming forward and MArquez will just side step and hit him with precise counter shots. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the corner stopped the fight for Diaz

    the brain agrees with you all...JMM easy...diaz is a stand toe to toe..and he cant really punch...and JMM just might be the most underappreciated fighter in recent history

    Diaz will always be at a disadvantage at this high level. No real power. Campbell met him punch for punch and it was Diaz that got wore down. It'll be the same deal with JMM.

    jmm for the win by tko, jmm has alot of skill not saying diaz doesn't but jmm is going to be to much to handle and will wear diaz down, plus jmm is a great counter puncher look how he was catching pac-man either way its going to be an alsome fight two greats going off can't wait to see this fight.

    i agree with mostly everything other than jmm will wear diaz down and stop him. diaz will be putting pressure on juan throughout the fight, not the other way around. diaz is also a young tough son of a perro & will essentially be the bigger man in the ring. i expect to see jmm simply outclass diaz with countershots & his overall boxing ability.

    Don't know about this one man. I think it's going to be a real close fight I really want Diaz to win this fight but it's going to be hard to beat marquez I have marquez winning this match by decision no k.O needless to say I already got my tickets got to be there since it's in my city...

    JMMs going to smash the baby bull. I really didn't want to see this fight since I'm a fan of both fighters.
