GREAT FIGHT COMING UP! Liakhovich vs. Helenius

I think Liakhovich can give Helenius a good fight for about 7 or 8 rounds, cause Helenius isn't a technical wonder.

Helenius KO/TKO - that´s my wish.

 

If the white wolf was in great shape i would give him a great shot

 

Helenius needs to work on better movement, tighten up his defense and pack on some muscle...and he will be the next unified champion.

I have him winning this by late TKO. His management is bringing him along slowly and choosing good opponents. They wouldn't have taken this fight if they thought it would derail him.

Pulev is supposed to be on the card too i think

All depends of which Liakhocich shows up. He's been inactive but is 34 and now with Main Events (same as Adamek) so if he can return to anywhere near what he was a few years ago he could cause real problems. One interesting aspect is that both are big guys who are terriffic body punchers.

I went for Helenius ko/tko, but it's a very close fight in reality. probably around 60/40 in favour of Helenius. If there had of been fair judges in the Peter vs Helenius fight Peter may have been winning that fight prior to the KO, either way it was close and not one sided in Helenius's favour as the judges had it. I wont be shocked if Liakhovich pulls this off, he really shouldn't be underestimated. Once again i'm not impressived with the needless extra layer of fat Helenius is carrying. He is a top 10 heavy now he really should be sorting that out, especially when you consider his stamina seems to be a weakness of his.

 

I don't think he's out of shape really, he's one of those guys that can't get alot of definition. He's never going to be look like a Klychko.

I'm sorry but there is no excuse for a serious pro athlete to be in this condition. Against Peter I thought Helenius stamia was looking bad before he got the KO.

Helenius IS a technical wonder compared to Valuev, and Valuev used Liakhovich as a heavy bag for 12 rounds. Helenius will destroy him.

 

And Liakhovich fought that fight with 1 arm.......

The brutal Brewster war of '06 finished Liakhovich & Lamon.

 

Should be fairly easy for Helenius. I want to see Helenius-Wach.
