Mosley has the power to hurt Hearns, but i can't see him doing it in time. Hearns wide decision / KO.

Exhibit A -- Vernon Forrest vs Shane Mosley

I'll take Hearns easily. Shane never gets passed the Hitman's jab, and when he does, he finds his right hand. Hearns did not just have power, he would have out-boxed Shane thoroughly in my opinion.

This guy knocked out cruiserweights! Mosely is one of my favorites, but he has absolutley no chance against The Motor City Cobra!

At 147 I like Hearns. He is longer than Mosley and has an outstanding jab. The jab seemes to be Mosley's biggest weekness. I also think Hearns chin is underated his only loss was a ko loss but it was after 14 hard fought rounds against Ray Leonard. Hearns also had exlent power at 147. I can't see anyother outcome than a Hearns victory.

Yeah his chin is very underrated. As you said stopped in the 14th after a back and forth with SRL. And it took SRL everything he had in that fight to pull out the stoppage from behind. I cant see mosley stopping hearns at all and I cant see him outboxing him. THe only thing left is whether mosley lasts the distance or not.

Hearns all day! Shane would have the same problems he had with Forrest and more!

Well -- calling Hearns slow isn't actually the stupidest thing I've seen on ESB. I once read a post that referred to Ali's "china chin!":patsch

I love Mosley, but this fight probably shows up as one of his worst nightmares. His tendency to come forward and vulnerability to fast, rangy fighters gets him wiped out against a killing machine like Hearns. He never would have made it out of the second round if Hearns had been in Forrest's position.

I'm a huge Shane fan. But he would almost certainly be KO'd by Hearns.

Hearns is bigger, has longer reach, is fast as hell, he can box, he can slug, and has dynamite in both hands. Essentially, Hearns is Vernon Forrest, except he consistently hits harder.

If Shane made it to the final bell, that alone would be a hell of a feat.
