Hopefully it will be a fun fight - but I seriously doubt it will be a slugfest. The only Ruiz fights I've ever thought were entertaining were the Jones, Toney and Golota fights - but all of those fighters made Ruiz fight their game.

David just may have his hands full. Talk what you want about Ruiz but the guy knows how to survive and even surprises you at times. My only real fear is that Haye's not going to take Ruiz seriously, get wreckless, and get caught by something that will take him out of his gameplan. I really want to see Haye do something in the heavyweight division and beat the belt holders while also dominating the up and comers like Arreola, Adamek, Chambers, Solis, but also get rid of these old timers like McCall, Tua, Peter, etc.

  4. David Haye is good, not great. Ruiz is and always has been TERRIBLE. It will be a boring affair fosho. Ruiz will start groping Haye as soon as he gets hit. I wanna see Haye KO this bum once and for all, but im not holding my breath.

How it happen that Haye is a WBA champ after Bonin Barret and Valuev....probably the easiest way to HW belt in history!!!!!!

I think this will be a good fight. Two Heavyweight fights that look good on paper in one month! Who woulda thunk it! :? :yikes

Also, hopefully Haye puts on a great show and KO's Ruiz.

i respect how ruiz got to the top sign with a big time promoter and just keep doing jab and clinch over and over.

haye should catch him on the way in. but it could turn into a sort of game of haye waiting for ruiz to come forewards then get jabbed and clinched before he coudl let his shots off.

I think it is a suitable defense for Haye.

I cant stand Ruiz but he is a spoiler of the highest merit.

If Haye gets to him early (rounds 1 or 2) Ruiz will soon be back to holding because he cant trade with that kind of speed and hope to be effective

It will be a relatively easy win for Haye.
