Give me an example of a great fighter who did all of the below A. Beat the best fighter(s) of previous era in his current weight class B. Beat the best fighter(s) of current era in his current weight class C. Beat the best fighter(s) of future era in his current weight class
For Lennox, Bruno Holyfield,Tyson, Weaver tucker and biggs, to name some greats to the before, Morrison, Tua, Mercer, Golata, Razor for during, and obviously Vitali for after.
you could go McCallum, Toney and Hopkins for Roy , but again kinda pushing it, and Foreman Frazier before, Norton and young During, and Maybe Cooney Moorer and Cooper after? those 2 are pushing it, Lennox is a definite IMO though
Lewis beat: -A 40 years old bum Weaver. -A total bum post-prison, mental collapsed Tyson. -An overused, tired Holyfield -A fat Tucker who was far away from his prime -A fat Mercer. (The 42 years old Holmes beat the prime unbeaten Mercer.) -Tyson beat Bruno easier than Lewis two times. -Biggs was a " punchin' bag" after the Tyson fight. -Morrison never was one of the best fighter. -Big thing...He outscored a fat Tua. -Golota wasn't healthy against Lewis. -Ruddock's punching resistance wasn't the same after the Tyson and the Smith fights. (Lewis' brain/head was total fresh against Ruddock.) -He was lucky against Vitali. (Bruno,Weaver,Morrison,Tua,Golota,Ruddok,Vitali,Tucker,Biggs,Mercer weren't greats.) Obviously you're a Lewis licker.Don't wash our brains!
A convenient list of lies and farfetched excuses to denigrate Lewis, who you clearly are not a fan of.
Lewis does get too much credit for Tyson and to an extent Holyfield. His Vitali performance deserved a rematch too but I understand his age and dedication weren't there so he retired. His destruction of Morrison, Golota, Grant, Tua, Briggs, Botha and tough win with Mercer gets very undervalued IMO. They were all sturdy challengers he defeated them all with ease (save Mercer) and emphatically.
