Lennox Lewis and Carlos Monzon come to mind ,Lewis was often rather tentative to me ,and Monzon was workman like ,without being exciting, but both are great fighters Monzone especially so.

    Roberto Duran.

Sometimes he was lazy and disinterested, and some of his other fights were just ugly because of all the clinching (usually not his fault).

Before the KO, the Ray Lampkin fight was mostly unwatchable.

Exactly, let me add Michael Nunn to that list aswell...
It's not that I don't appreciate "Boxing" & the art of defense
just that sometimes fighter's like this tend to fall in love with tha "Slap & Paw" too much
and make an easy fight into a VERY long and boring matchup
sometimes even against an obviously outclassed opponent.

Nothing worse than A star with no Punching power fighting an outclassed opponent with chin of granite...:!:

Nunn was the epitome of frustrating.

I love watching him fight, but his sloth and gluttony can make it very frustrating to watch him and more so, be a fan of him.

    Oscar de la Hoya.

Nothing is more frustrating than watching a great fighter gas out at the end of every big fight (or run like he did against Trinidad) and lose.
