Who are the great fighters of the past who have not had a superior biography writen about them but really need one? What biographies would get your undivided atention if they were published.
I've never read a robinson one that i have been fully satisfied with, i'd be intrested in a sam langford one, carlos monzon as well
There is a verry good Langford biography by Clay Moyle. There are several Robinson biographies so there is probably one somwhere that you would be satisfied with. Dont know about Monzon.
I would say Stanley Ketchel, but one was just released and it might be good. If anyone's read it, I'd like to hear some thoughts. Also, I think Nat Fleischer wrote one way back. I'd like to get my hands on that.
Holman Williams. Consider his early involvement with Joe Louis as a very interesting footnote to a story that sees Holman matched with the best of the era.
