    I forgot about Buchanan (shame on me), he should indeed have got the rematch.

    i think that's the primary reason for about 99% of the alleged "ducks" in boxing.

    Well it is subjective, some might say its ducking some might not.

    Vargas on the other hand looks like the one who fought some realy tough competition even tho he was young.

    Made Holman Williams wait practically until he was retired for a fight (and still nearly lost to him).

    It would be nice, but no cigar.

    It would be better if the question was 'Which ATG/HOF fighters never ducked out of a fight'

    It's pretty obvious brave yet limited journeyman like Baldomir wouldn't duck a fight, they need all the paydays they can get

    I guess you can argue Ali avoided a rematch or 2 late in his career.
