Rematch with Foreman. Ali was able to avoid that for as long as he could and was fortunate that Foreman lost a decision to Jimmy Young and decided to retire (partly because he knew Ali would never face him now)

Hey, trust me, Ali is the greatest heavyweight of all-time and he's one of my favorite persons of all-time as well. But, Ali did without a doubt avoided fighting Foreman for a second time. Do you think Foreman was avoiding Ali and his chance at redemption?

And that's not a knock on Ali. Most fighters when they are on the top of the hill and are starting to get older take fights using the risk-reward factor. It's almost natural.

DLH - He cherrypicks i.e. miscalculating Mosley's 2 WEIGHT jump, washed up Chavez, fighting Vargas, and Mayorga after Tito VIOLATED them dropping them 8 times, and Gatti is pure trash, but Oscar does have names on his resume nonetheless

    Corrales

Tito - He lovest the challenge.............This CLOWN paid Winky $1,000,000 out of HIS purse to make the fight, knowing he was a stylistic nightmare.......Fighting Roy at 170 lbs. CRAZY HEART.....

i would have to be convinced.maybe the fight was never seriously mooted, because if it was i don't think there's a chance that ali would have ducked it.it just wasn't in his mentality.

Wow...way to make the great fighters on his resume into nobodies just because you said so:huh You can't argue with facts and the records of opposing fighers that DLH got into the ring with! All the political maneuvering you speak of is pure speculation and usually the preferred opinion of people trying to downplay DLH's career!

As for the comment on him ducking Cotto? Give me a break....Cotto would not make it the distance against DLH...Oscar is too strong and skilled and styles do make fights....Cotto's just happens to play right into DLH's. :good You see, Cotto has been down a few times....his opponents never finished him off and let him back into the fight....what do you think will happen when DLH knocks him down...thats right....he will be all over him and the ref will quickly step up and save Cotto from the horror of brain damage! See (DLH vs. Vargas), because that is the same ending I see happening should we see a DLH vs. Cotto. :thumbsup

Roberto Duran is not my boyfriend.

But if he was I couldn't possibly be criticised for it because he fought everybody there was to fight, and his whole life didn't revolve around the concept of making money.

Shane fought everyone out there and I would give him the benefit of the doubt in the PBF situation. Considering he took fights he didnt have too againts tough opposition many times, I would say Mosely is the closest today to someone not willing to duck anyone.

You should explain such a big statement. Oscar is closest below middleweight to someone who hasn't ducked anyone except for one man alone, Winky Wright who he is still ducking today. Other than that Oscar is probably the most stated name in this thread which goes to show his bravery. I would be curious to see who else you think he ducked, if it makes sense and is just not Oscar hatin'.
