This Thread is dedicated to all of the great fighters of all time who never got their just due.... I'm relatively new to boxing in the grand scheme of things but I'm sure there are a lot of fighters who were great and not remembered or missed their chance at history

i'm sure a lot of you are going to hate me for this but paul could fit into this category for our generation...

missed a lot of fights for one reason or another

    who else?

Ill kick it off with Luis Manuel Rodriguez...would have schooled Pac, Mayweather and Mosley in the same week.

haha well ill admit this to any one... I've only been a hard core fan since like the early 2000's.... there has not been very many fighters who would fit into this category since the early 00's

atleast that I can think of right now...

George Foreman does not get enough credit for his incredible second World Heavyweight Championship at age 45 and holding the title until 48. This is one of the greatest athletic feats of the 20th century IMO but it seems most fans don't acknowledge it :huh :-(

During that period of the late 70's and early 80's...All everyone talks about still, til this very day is Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler. But the Name that gets lost so often in that conversation is Wilfred Benitez...GREAT FIGHTER!!!!

This guy was a master in the ring ...and still today no fighter out here has the best stare down than Wifredo Benitez ....4 times world champion in four weight classes ....turned pro at the age of 14 years old ...you can't get a 14 to tie his own shoes these day ...won his 1st world title at the age of 17 and stil you can't get a 17 year old to tie his own shoes these day much props to a legend.

Whatever...:-( boxing is not the UFC the man was 41.0 until another legend beat him. Sugar ray Leonard

and it was rumor that he only trained 3 weeks for the fight and Benitez tried to get a rematch and Ray never granted him one.(Ray knew the second fight would have turned out different)

Ike Quartey would be rated a lot higher had he been given the decisions over Oscar and Forrest.

    Mike McCallum?
