Pacquiao lost his title at the scales, not the ring.

Singsuray however, won his title in the ring.

If Pacquiao had won the bout, the title would've been vacant.

Im just curious, did all those fighters name in that list defeat all major belt holders in their weight class? Or did they just defend their title once and then move up in weight? This for sure has less of a risk in my opinion of never losing if your always vacating belts and not defending them.

This is one of the finest hair-splits I've ever seen on these boards. Congrats for creating a thread just to point it out - why waste everyone's time and not just put it in the original post?

by losing the fight he lost the title in the ring. if he had won he would have been stripped after the fight. for not making weight. if he were stripped before the fight, how could it be a title fight.

it was a title fight only for singsurat. pac was already stripped of the title after failing to make the weight.

when a fighter does not make weight he still walks into the ring as the champion. regadless of the outcome he cannot walk outas the champion. therefore pac was still champion when he went into the ring
a better example is nate campbell who actually won his fight
