    Both Johnny Famechon and Tony Mundine went into thier pro careers without any amatuer fights at all.

    No, he almost did in his 1st bout BUT was DQ'ed instead.

    Eubank did fight as an ameteur he won a golden gloves title in new york as he was sent there after being kicked out of school he returned to UK to turn pro.

    Sure did...but he didnt have to many fights from Ive read.

    I think Ricardo Lopez only had 20-or-so amateur fights - he was undefeated there also.

    really i thought he was 20-0:think




    eubank had little am expereince but was sparrign everybody in the gym. same with david banks (not a great fighter but still), no am expereince yet he was sparring in the gym heavily.

    Is it something in the water in mexican they always have cast iron chins, big hearts and always go out on there sheild, the true mexican boxers that is!


    If there was something in the water they would stay in mexico right? When a mexican fights a black or white fighter they lose period.

    Anyway as somebody mentioned Foreman had only 25 amateur bouts including the olympics
