Great fights where both fighters barely had a scratch after the fight

    Yes I know, strange question. But I recently had the pleasure of watching Donnie Nietes vs Kazuto Ioka which was a terrific fight between 2 skillful operators. After the fight Takashi Uchiyama was commentating the bout and was amazed how after the fight both guys had clean faces, not a lump, bruise, blood or scratch, showing their level of defense and hard to hit flush.

    Are there any great fights where both fighters were barely marked up at all due to good defense or just having a tough skin? I’m curious to see some answers.

    I don't remember Duran or Leonard having many (if any) marks on them after Montreal.

    Monzon almost never got marked up until Valdez bloodied him in that last fight.

    Toney vs Nunn. Although Nunn looked a little gloomy. Actually they both looked kinda gloomy after the fight but that's just Toney.

    Leonards ear was so severely damaged he said he had to have a doctor attend to it after the fight

    Well I wouldn’t quite call it a great fight? But I just got done rescoring Holmes vs Norton and both guys looked pretty good for just having gone 15 rounds

    No not really, Leonard said in his dressing room it really swelled up tremendously! That a doctor was called and he said it hurt like hell.
