Good fighter, good vid.Im sick of people going on about tszyu being shot.Watch him fight Mitchell and then say he is shot.Ricky Hatton was ****ing great that night and us Brits should be thanking him for a hell of a show not trying to find fault. We dont have that many great nights to look back on so i for one thank Hatton for a night to remember.Kostya went out well and that should not be forgotten either.

Great vid. The Hit Man deserves ever bit of the massive support form the Brit fight fans he gets. There's on one Ricky Hatton.

He may not be the most pleasing on the eye to some people, or the best technically gifted fighter, but he's achieved a hell of alot in the sport and wore his heart on his sleeve and fought like a lion every time he was in that ring, that is why I cant understand how arse holes can have a pop at him

Great video, cheers Jeff. Great pressure fighter, who unfortunately, is not at the elite level. Has been brilliant for British boxing and will be a huge loss when he does retire. Who's going to fill the void????
I for one will miss the "Hatton nights", when a load of friends (who aren't really into boxing) would come round for the event and a few tinnies. No other boxer has that pulling power.
As a boxing fan, I know Ricky is not the most skilled boxer in the world, he has however, achieved a lot with the skills and style he has.

Of course Ricky was exposed when he fought top flight competition, just like Sugar Ray Leonard was exposed when he fought Duran (1), Ali was exposed when he fought Frazier (1), Robinson was exposed when he fought La Maotta (2)..... bunch of **** fighters. I mean, imagine losing to peak fighters such as Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao?! At least Sven Ottke managed to stay unbeaten.

it's the way he lost that sets it apart as a straight-up fraud all along, plus thew fact that it's very easy to pick his record apart....you cannot do that to nearly the same extent with the guys you mentioned above.
Can you imagine saying back in the day 'yeah this Leonard/Ali has been cherrypicking WBU bums and weak, accidantal beltholders all along and now he suddenly jumping in with a prime elite'....no, Niether can I. That WAS the script with Wicky and some of us called it all along.
Hatton was bigger than Pac and got beat up and sparked badly in 2.
