great heavyweight fights

    last night i watched the bowe/holyfield trilogy again and i was reminded of how great heavyweight boxing can be. so i decided to spend tonight watching alot of exciting heavyweight battles only problem is im stoned now and cant recall too many so help me out a little guys

    name your favourite heavyweight battles please

    Lewis-Klitschko was probably the best fight of the last decade. Williams-Tyson was also damn good, Lewis-Mercer, Tua-Ibeabuchi etc.

    Of course you have the classics if you want to go old school. Ali-Frazier trilogy, Ali-Foreman, Tunney-Dempsey etc.

    They were pretty good, especially the second one. But they became legendary HW fights mostly because the low blows and the riot as you wrote.

    Bowe-Golota II is in top 5 most exciting heavyweight fights of all time , many ppl say its the most exciting.... , so hell yes they were Very very good.
