How many boxers make your top 25 lists across different weightclasses.

How does this impact your ratings?

Do you put extra value on traditional weight classes?

Does one great win justify a top 25 ranking?

For example: charles makes my top 25 in mw, lhw and hw. His ranking at mw is based on a great victory over burley. So over 3 traditional weightclasses he can be called a great imo.

Which other boxers are greats in more than 2 divisions iyo?

One could make a case for Hearns

Top 25 at Welterweight, Middleweight, and light-H(with his victory over Virgil Hill)

    How about Archie Moore?

I don´t think Hearns is Top25 at mw or lhw, there are too many great fighters in those divisions who did just more.

Lhw for sure, hw arguably, I´ve got him at #27, but not at mw, too many fighters did more there.

    Mine:
    Ezzard Charles (LHW, HW)
    Bob Fitzsimmons (MW, LHW, HW)
    Sam Langford (LHW, HW)
    Harry Greb (MW, LHW)
    Sugar Ray Robinson (WW, MW)
    Tommy Ryan (WW, MW)
    Charley Burley (WW, MW)
    Mickey Walker (WW, MW)
    Emile Grffith (WW, MW)
    Henry Armstrong (FW, LW, WW)
    Barney Ross (LW, WW)
    Pernell Whitaker (LW, WW)
    Tony Canzoneri (FW, LW)
    Alexis Arguello (FW, LW)

Bodhi got most of them but heres a few more or at least up in the air very close.

Delahoya Resume wise maybe not top 25 lw but hth a beast so he gets in the top 25 in my book... And WW

    Harada Fly,BW

    .
Mosley Lw,WW Hmmm?? gets at Lw not sure at WW but very close.

DLH is at ww but nowhere under or above IMO. I don´t include h2h when ranking fighters. Harada, yeah, I´m not very into the weight under fw outside of a few fighters thus I didn´t include any fighters from there. Mosley is an atg but honestly, lw and ww are so deep divisions and his resume just lacks a bit - at lw overall, even so he could make it based on his dominance - and at ww, well he has the names but too many losses IMO - even so the wins over DLH and past prime over Margo are great wins.

Modern inbetween divisions can count. Do they hold the same weight however?

Including 140 I think ross has to be considered from lightweight to welterweight.

    Good shouts bodhi!

Only at LHW, he isn´t at HW nor at MW. At SMW for sure but like you could see I didn´t include divisions outside the original 8 above FW.

Fair enough. I would say he could be included in the top 25 at middle.

Depends on your criteria, I don´t include things like "ability", "talent" or "h2h" in my rankings, so he isn´t. Just didn´t do enough work there.

    This.

I don't see h2h as a valid criteria. But if I did jones would be far higher than 25. If it's a valid consistent criteria people use then jones has to be highly ranked. Otherwise he doesn't make the cut imo
