besides the "hard right jabs" (you'll see) this is a great interview from a year ago. check it out if you got 25 minutes. it pauses 18 minutes in and resumes at 21:20. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek3XHVj6uh4[/ame]
What a life this guy's had. Muhammad was a great champion in one of the best era of the light heavyweights, so that's saying a lot. I also hate to see champs talking like that. That's why I don't have any problems with early stoppages. It could've changed the result of Muhammad vs Lopez II (I would've stopped the fight when Lopez threw that wild barrage of punches), but that could've also changed the rest of Matthew's life. We have to think about these kinds of things.
I was a huge fan and watched all of him many televised bouts. For a fighter wn ho took as many shots as that man did he actually is pretty articulate. Certainly slurring his words but there is a strong thought process going on. Was expecting much worse.
What a great fan friendly fighter Matthew was.I have seen many tapes of his bouts and they always were action packed. He deserves all the best of life has to offer.
