Just watched Hill vs Hearns, both guys known for having amazing jabs and fought most of the fight using it. What are some other great technique filled jab battles between fighters with good jabs?

Sonny Liston vs Muhammad Ali 1:
An interesting chess match who could have been a lot better, if Sonny wasn't suffering from a severe shoulder injury in his left shoulder and in his prime.
Sonny landed the only hard jabs thrown in the first two rounds. Ali landed lightning fast, but basically ineffective, jabs. But in the 3rd round, liston's arm was worsening, and Ali began to take over.

Well he jabbed great but many of his opponents did not.

One of the impressive things about Mike Weaver in his fight against Larry (the first one, not when they were ancient) was how well he jabbed with the master.

Great fight. If you haven’t seen it, or haven’t seen it lately, it’s worth your time.

Obviously you never saw this fight. Liston basically fanned Ali the 1st two rds of that fight,he completely missed or Ali rode most of his jabs and hard punches. Meanwhile Ali after overcoming the jitters the 1st minutes of the 1st rd began teeing off on Liston, landing almost at will.
Liston's left hand seemed to be fine in the 5th and 6th rd because he was using it just as aggressively as he did the first two rds.
Ali made Liston quit because he didn't want to get embarrassed, that simple.
Liston's shoulder , Duran's stomach weigh about the same as far as the greatness of both fighters and what was being done to them.
It is two great fighters that decided to quit than too lose to a hated opponent.

    You say oh, I watched the fight and Liston was missing a lot and Ali was dominating him;
the Judges were ringside, and most of the blows Ali threw either hit Sonny’s gloves, or had little effect on him; Sonny landed hard blows in each of the first two rounds; and good body shots on Ali in the third despite being cut for the first time in his career. Fighting with his his left, injured, fighting a kid at least 14 years younger than him, Liston fought well, until in the sixth he was obviously having trouble even lifting his left to block punches, and his shoulder tore apart completely, and he could not lift his arm at all. And there is medicale evidence that the big bear was badly injured in the first ali fight.

Think you would be hard pressed to find a fight where both fighters used their jab as much as Hearns and Hill.
    Maybe Darius vs Hill.
Felix Sturm vs A couple of fighters where Felix employed the jab alot: Sylvester,Zibik, Oscar.
Actually Darius had a great power jab: check out his fights with Richard Hall.
    Michael Spinks jabbed Qwai silly.
Winky glued his jab on Trinadads face all night.
Check out Holmes vs Butterbean to see how a good jab can still be effective in the hands of a fifty something boxer if thrown right.
    Ike Quartey vs Lopez.

Particularly the ones with Williams and Norton. Both were extremely good jabbers.

Pinklon Thomas vs. Mike Weaver was filled with mean jabs on both sides.
