A good question being raised on the Brit Forum -

Why doesn't Haye move his attention to fight Vitali? Everyone would love to see him fight either I would have thought?

"I'm done now with the Klitchko's" say's Haye.

He don't want a piece of either...

Well Vitali Klitschko will be free after his WBC mandatory showdown with Odlanier Solis set for March 19 in Germany.

5 weeks prior to the Wlad/Chisora April fight, leaving Vitali 13 weeks to get ready for July 2nd. More than enough one would say, well except for Booth and Haye!

I'll still tip the South London'er want's no part of it.

3 & a half months should be plenty for Vitali to have a bit over a month off then prepare for Haye.

1 thing i dont understand about Haye in the last 3-4 years is he is always taking at least 6 months off or more between fights.
He has become an increasingly inactive fighter.

    rubbish!!

it doesn't look like that at all.

instead of having a cry like a little girl, how hard would it have been for haye to say ok then make the fight for september. but no haye responded like a goose and says thats it i won't fight wlad now. seriously he is an adult is he not?
or what was wrong with saying ok in 8 weeks time we find another date for later in the year.

Wladimir is fighting Chisora, however you want to paint it. I still think it'll get made because there's too much money involved, but this is resting firmly on Wladimir's shoulders. As for Vitali, well he's in negotiations with Solis, his mandatory.

I think you need to direct that question to Valuev's people.

Fair point but why is David Haye running away from the July 2 fight ? The bottom line is that Haye is running away from the July 2 showdown, Wlad isn't.

Because at heavyweight his chin is going to get checked sooner rather than later. He has fought rubbish opponents at heavy so far. Adamek has fought much much tougher opposition than Haye at heavy for instance.

Well he has his mandatory Chagaev due shortly...but i wouldnt mind seeing face Povetkin, Adamek & even fat boy Arreola.
All those 3 would be good heavyweight viewing.

    I agree with Contendo here.

I think that Haye is throwing a tantrum and now every one is just saying ' give the cry babie what he wants , to shut him up'

How quick every one forgets about the 'injured back' of Hayes , when he went to holidays with out his phone, and now people are giving Wlad **** for wanting to sucure a bout, as Haye might 'injure' his back again,

Agree. They would all be good fights for Haye.

As far as I can see, he isn't. He wants nothing on before it. If Wladimir doesn't fight Chisora, the fight's on. Klitschko has chosen to fight Chisora instead.

Bizarre move to say the least, unless he's trying to renogotiate a German TV deal. The only obstacle created is by Wladimir. Imagine De la Hoya telling Trinidad he'll fight him in the "Fight of the Millenium" after he meets Ralf Jones or Holyfield facing Tyson the second time after he takes care of Jimmy Thunder.

Like I said, bizarre. It'll happen at some stage you'd have to think, but the ball was just in Wladimir's court...

Chagaev looked rubish against Travis Walker and IMO Walker won the fight......I would rather see Haye fight any of the 3 you mentioned :good
