Yes he did mate....Travis said he was the fittest hes been in a long time...shame the fight didnt go 12 rounds...IMO it would be Travis fighting Haye and not Chagaev.

Without a shadow of a doubt. But his contracts didn't do his fighters or their opponents too many favours.

Wladimir will beat Adamek with ease. He has neither the speed of hand or foot or the size or power to trouble him. Only his heart will keep him in it IMO. Would love to see him get up though and fight Haye, which would be a much better fight.

Don't jump ahead of yourself Josey. I too think Haye would beat Adamek but i'm just suggesting that it would be a decent fight as Adamek is a warrior.:good

I am willing to bet that Haye will be fighting beyond 2011. Whose will me on this. Don't believe fighters when they say things like that or retire. We all know that 90 % of them go back on their word. Haye ain't retiring any time soon.

Just keep's getting better doesn't it!!

The H/W division is a ****ing soap opera.

Extract taken from - Bad Left Hook.com

"On New Year's Eve a week ago, writing a blog, I mentioned that I hope to fight for the championship belt by the end of 2011. Today, all indications are that in the coming week I will be signing contract to fight Wladimir Klitschko."

Tomasz Adamek's Official Website (in Polish)

Other sources are reporting that Klitschko's camp has confirmed this fight as well. This whole situation has become a fine mess, but at least Klitschko seems to be turning lemons into lemonade.

Talks with David Haye fell through after no TV date was available in the UK until July. Klitschko then signed to fight Dereck Chisora as a warm-up, and Haye apparently refused the July fight (which was still on the table) because he felt that was too close to Klitschko's scheduled April 30 fight.

Klitschko moves on to the next best thing, as Adamek is the consensus #4 heavyweight in the world and apparently the only top heavy yet to face a Klitschko who actually has the fortitude to do so.

Haye is now slated to fight his mandatory Ruslan Chagaev in May. Of course, that will probably never happen because Chagaev can't get licensed to fight in the UK due to his hepatitis-positive status.

Mate and that's the thing. I've said all along that Haye isn't that great. His chin is pretty woeful. But he's a breath of fresh air to an absolutely stinking shithouse division. Watching 6 or 7 rounds of Wladimir jabbing before deciding to throw a right hand hasn't done too many favours.

Klitschko will be a favourite if and when they do fight, and so he'd want to be. He'll have a more proven record at that weight and a 40lbs weight advantage.

Haye would beat Adamek like a drum though, but it would be a great fight to watch.
