I saw a video of the prince when he was about 6 years old...sparring with some older kid....well not really sparring just doing footwork and stuff...but he was unreal for a 6 year old...I haven't been able to find the vid or I'd post it. All I could find was a 9 second clip or somethin of him sparrin Herol Graham as a kid.

exceptional talent who lost the dedication required to become an ATG.

  7. Great clip. Feel a bit sorry for the other kid. Can you imagine? He had no idea what he was in for.

    What a talent Naz was.

Hamed's a twat so it's difficult for me to be nostalgic about him. I will say this though to all the people who just say he's overrated; his split with ingle is comparable to Tyson's split with Rooney in that he went downhill from then on; when you've been taught from the ground up in a gym where they practice a style that nobody else knows, you're going to suffer when you try to practice the same style with different people who have you doing different routines in the gym.

Why was Naz not wearing headgear and the other kid was?

But damn you can hear the power when he landed those punches!

He was just a natural, but like most amazing young athletes; your peers begin to catchup and they can't just rely on just their natural ability anymore.

Wasn't entirely his fault. Other than the image-crushing loss itself, he had to deal with the heavy anti-muslim propaganda post-9/11, Adidas breaking the deal partially bacause of his race/religion, the rooting against cockly but fun Naseem probably turning into pure hate based on the same reasons, it was just hard to think positive. Imagine him flying in on the carpet in 2003.
