Beeston you are nuts. Gatti would have outboxed Hatton quite easily in my opinion. Watch the first half of the Ward fight or any of Gatti 2/3

Hatton is/was miles better than Ward mate.

    Other than the chin department.

Better yes maybe, miles better ? No chance.

Gatti would have beat Hatton quite comfortably for me if he stuck to his boxing which at times was excellent. He could be forced into a scrap but I still think he'd stick it out :good

Scott Harrison V Michael Gomez. The Harrison that fought Mccullough or the medina rematch v the Gomez that fought Arthur.

    Little Tyson Guest

    Gatti - Hatton
    Pacquiao - Mayweather
    Mclellan - Jones Jr
    Khan - Murrary
    Cotto (prime) - Mayweather
    Naseem - Mayweather

Lol funny how many of them have Mayweather in it, shows what a ducking barstard he is.

    Nelson-McGuigan...

Always remember Nelson and his entourage, after he'd stretched Pat Cowdell, pointing to the camera and shouting, "We Want McGuigan!!"

Would have been a great fight....as long as they did it in a cooler climate than Vegas during the daytime!

Hopkins-Toney is the one overseas I would have wanted to see more than any other....off the top of my head. The build up would have been mind blowing.

Hatton and Gatti should of fight at LWW. Hatton I believe would have been to strong and bullied him at LWW.

So many great potential match ups listed here - a real shame that we have/are deprived so many great fights.

It's not so much as I hate him.... though my posts on the subject would suggest that.

To me, he is just massively overrated, many people make him out to be this indestructable wrecking machine who would have been the best heavyweight ever if about 100 things hadn't gone wrong, and even now still make excuses.

    If he hadn't left Rooney......

If he hadn't gone with King......

If he hadn't gotten involved with Robin Givens......

    etc etc etc

Come on! An adult is responsible for making their own decisions, and one that isn't all there upstairs should ensure that someone who is capable is acting on their behalf and advising them.

In terms of great fighters that he defeated..... there aren't really that many - though in fairness he was pretty dominant over the guys he did face.

As for his overall standing, somewhere between 11 & 15 would be about right(perhaps slightly lower)..... to me you can't justify ranking him above the likes of Lewis and Holyfield (who are my two favourites granted) whilst Bowe in my opinion would be a tough H2H matchup for him.

Some cracking match ups on here.

Ones that I immediately think of are

    McGuigan V Nelson

    Eubank V McLellan

    Lewis V Bowe

    Benn V RJJ

    And maybe Honeyghan V Jones
