Of course a fighters stock drops after a loss....well....for the most part. In some cases a fighters stock rises in a epic battle. But you are acting as if Floyd will beat Manny without a doubt. There are no gurantees in boxing...anything can happen. Floyd could win, but he could loose. He was the underdog when PAC vs Manny was presented to the public. If FLoyd looses to Shane or Manny his stock would also drop! THere is no doubt Floyd and PAC are the top draws in the sport.....but some fanatics are trying to say that Floyd is a bigger draw than DLH....and that is completely false.

    Obviously it doesn't.

Nobody thought Margarito's stock dropped when he was begging for a fight. Nobody though William's stock dropped when he was being looked over due to a loss against a limited decent contender. They still say Mayweather was "ducking".

Nobody thought ODLH's stock dropped when he got schooled by Mayweather. Nobody thought Hatton's dropped when he was KOd. Nobody thought Cotto's dropped when he was DESTROYED by Margarito even though Margarito's destroyer (Mosley) was readily available. Nobody thought Clottey's stock dropped. They give Pac full credit for those.

FMJ is a bigger draw than Manny. FMJ is probably as big or slightly bigger a draw than ODLH, though ODLH took boxing to another level and should be respected for that. To say it is "completly false" is basically... completely false!

I assume you meant that Floyd was the underdog when Pac vs May was presented, correct? And if you do mean this, then I implore you to look again. Pac was the underdog as far as Vegas was concerned. And Floyd IS a bigger draw than DLH. No one is paying to see DLH fight anymore. DLH can't keep the crown based on his past fights....were talking about 2010.

First part completely irrelevant to what I just posted. The reason, because you know its true. For the record, Floyd was favourite in all those fights.

Doesnt matter why PBF generates the most ppv buys, all that matter is he does therefore he is the biggest draw. McNeely generated more buys than anyone not named Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, PBF, Oscar. That Must mean he is one of the biggest draws ever.

Doesnt matter what condition Oscar was when Pac fought him, all that matter is that Pac beat him, therefore Pac wins over Oscar >>> PBF win over Oscar. Using your logic.

Oscar is a bigger draw then Floyd. However Manny is not, infact its really not even close.

In most cases when a fighter looses his stock DOESN"T DROP?:huh When Marg lost to Shane his stock dropped...when PW lost to Quintana...his stock dropped. You got it twisted homeboy. Floyd like PAC always gets UNFAIR critiism for being the best in their profession. So when people say Floyd ducks....it's usually not true. Floyd has the name recognitiion and popularity to pick who offered him the best payday...it just so happened that the one's offering his best payday were not really considered hard or difficult challenges aside from DLH.

DLH never got schooled by Floyd. Floyd almost lost to a past his prime DLH....Now DLH was still very much a top fighter, but clearly past his best. That is actually Floyd's best win. DLH's stock didn't drop b/c it was a hella close fight that some gave to DLH. Again...in close competitive fights sometimes stocks don't drop...they'll stay the same or in some cases get better.

Cotto's stock DID drop after loosing to Marg....he was no longer seen as invincible...now he regained some of that stock when the wraps of Margs came into question.

SOME give PAC full credit for his wins as he should and SOME give Floyd full credit for his wins...as they should, but being at this level you got guys who over analyze their wins and careers and try to detract from their accomplishments. haters are on the job for both Manny and Floyd.

And Floyd is in NO WAY, SHAPE FORM OR FASHION a bigger draw than DLH! That's is just comical. Floyd may be a bigger draw than Manny....but not by much. He should be...he's AMERICAN:lol:. But PAC is only getting more popular and Floyd isn't. he's been loosing popularity since being kicked off of Dancing witht he stars.:rofl If he beats shane he'll get some of that back.

I thought that's what I said...my bad. Floyd was the underdog. You need to look again b/c the odds shifted as the fight got closer. PAC became the favorite in Las Vegas.:good DLH crown is secure....2010 or 2008.....I doubt we'll see a guy who generates the kind of buzz in boxing that DLH was able to do in his time as a prize fighter. Now we got FLoyd and PAC who are trying to fill the slot. Who is more of a draw now....I'd say Floyd...but not by a lot.

Floyd should be the draw b/c he's an AMERICAN fighter....PAC isn't. So with that said..... Manny's drawing power for being a forienger is ****ing amazing. He's right at Floyd's level in terms of drawing power and popularity and he doesn't even live here.
