Do you think Bunce would ever publish the shite that Rafael does?

Maybe I'll bump I to Rafael if he's over here then. I can finally unleash knowledge on him in a vicious verbal tirade that will cause him to have a nervous breakdown.

:huh Thats just a list of quotes, anyone could write that also, and its also inane Haye Wlad stuff that has been cherry picked and put in a thread. Seriously, substitute "Ducker" for "Haye" and there is nothing to see there really, its all Wlad's thoughts not Rafael's.

    im not and i dont

but his tweets get posted here all the time , the man is just shameless when it comes to fighters he clearly hates and loves . hes like a general forum poster in everyway

he makes his mind up about someone and thats it its not changing no matter what happens

    he cant be objective ever

he uses gay little nicknames for fighters

He makes some very good points, but nothing different to what the guys on here think. He just gets paid for it. GazOC is a better sports journalist and scholar of the sport than Rafael. Same for Flea, Slip, GPater and TFFP.

Anyone can write a ranting blog. Agreeing with it doesn't make the writer a good journalist.

    You also said
No, but good journalists don't behave like Rafael does. I work for a few different places doing writing, and I would never put that sort of stuff without getting the other side of the story.

And the Bunce comparison some else made is shocking. There is a huge difference between Bunce the pundit and Bunce the journalist. The journalist is fantastic - clear, fair and objective. The pundit is where his personal feelings have their place.

And he very clearly divides the two. Plus his historical knowledge of the sport pisses all over a heathen like Rafael's.

So you think it's fine for someone who is meant to be a credible journo to write **** like 'Ducker'? It's from his twitter page, which is why it's all seperated, it's not cherry picked quotes.

    Personally, no.

I would say boxing is very different to other sports, the fighters set the tone with the verbal pre-fight sparring, this filters down to the trainers, promoters, its almost inevitable that it will creep into the press too.
