I was a fight on Saturday and it was a really good night. It's a pity the undercard was poor but the last two fights were great fun. I'm never going to be a Helenius fan but he has great support. Really good fans supporting him and that got the crowd buzzing.

I loved the main event. There weren't too many Froch fans there, just pockets spread around the arena but we made a good amount of noise. Quite a few Finnish people were backing him too though the majority favoured Abraham. Lots of leather jacket wearing Armenian's too, though many left before the 11th round, oddly, especially considering Abraham's record for late stoppages.

A great night overall though. Just a pity the undercard was poor and it was so ****ing cold

What a great fight to go and see. I was pretty jubilant sitting watching this on my own, it must have been something else to actually be there! :thumbsup

Listen, We Finns love our Boxers for the last Breath until it is all over and even then we still suppor them. we dont Abandon our Boxers no matter how they losses, gettng KTFO or getting embarrassingly beated...

Look Amin Asikainen, 3 KFTO losses and we still believe and support him. We Finnish and British boxing fans has alot of common when it comes to Boxing. Great atmosphere, you can literally feel the heat of the night.:bbb:good

It indeed was a great night.

Abraham vs. Froch didn’t exactly go how I thought it would, but it was still great to see world class boxing live in Finland.
Major respect for Froch from that victory, he is much better than I thought he was

I was under the impression there were loads of British fans there. Every time I was buying beer, there was different croup of Brits to talk with, plus there were lots of Brit songs going on during the match.

As for the weather it could have been much colder, if the fight would have been held in January.

Btw. Does Carl Froch have a blond haired brother, who is also a boxer?

He's got two bros, but don't think either of them box.

Are you talking about the huge bloke in the TEAM FROCH camp?

    BTW, nice Valuev story

Froch was spectacular - too bad that Abraham didn´t have anything to put against Froch. I was hoping this to be FOTY -candidate, but it went just way too one-dimensional. Any way Froch was superb.

It´s even colder in here now than it was Saturday night.

Nope smaller guy maybe 60-70 kilos, who looked lot like Froch.

Funny guy who was also a fighter, from London If I remember correctly.

He had some pictures him hanging around with Froch and Froch wife.
Then when I said he looked exactly liked Froch, he and his mate started laughing and telling yeah he is Carls brother.

Not really sure if they were just screwing around when they said that or was he really his brother.

I first noticed the english fans when the Abraham vs Froch fight started. You were quiet till then.

Some english dude called Couzens fought earlier, but you didn't much cheer for him, didn't you?

I'd never heard of him, honestly. I don't know who he is at all. I remember thinking the stoppage was quick though.

Most of the undercard was poor though, I thought. Too many decisions and not enough punchers. I would have liked to have seen someone like Tyson Fury on it too.
