I'll start with two shockers at the time
Ray Robinson loses to Randy Turpin,London,1951
Ray Robinson whipped by Ralph Tiger Jones,1955
Robinson was then considered unbeatable.....And yours...

James Toney over Michael Nunn. Nunn was undefeted and a top 10 pound for pound boxer. With talk of him being an all time great. Te fight was in his hometown as well. Toney was a reltive unknown at the time.

Texan Stevie Cruz over Barry McGuigan in 1986.

(By trade Cruz was a plumber's helper in Fort Worth, with no money in his savings account and a floating address. He was just Nobody from nowhere, and he would be going home soon.)

It probably wasnt that big an upset elsewhere, but in Australia at least, Fenech v Nelson II almost defied belief.

Boxing's next superstar Danny Romero being stopped by journeyman trial-horse Willy Salazar.

Zahir Raheem whipping Erik Morales was a fair upset as well.

Stole mine. Robinson-Turpin is in my opinion the greatest non hw upset of all time. not so much tiger jones because jones was a real good fighter and robinson was coming off a long layoff. no one really knew what he had.

    Carlos Baldomir- Zab Judah

Al McCoy-George Chip (How big an upset was this? McCoy's own father, who was in attendance, wouldn't bet on him.)

Young Corbett-Terry McGovern (Terrible Terry was thought to be unbeatable at the time.)

    Marco Antonio Rubio-Franciso Bojado
