Two of the great LHTs going at it with plenty of technique to go around.

I just watched 'Tuesday Night Fights Knockouts' and they showed a great fight I had forgotten about

Darroll Wilson Ko 4 Courage Tshabalala

Wilson is floored in the first round then again near the end of the third round. He is so hurt he falls back to the canvas after attempting to rise. He barely beats the count and the bell rings. He makes it back to his corner on his own power from the other side of the ring. Lou Duva jumps in the ring and screams at referee Rudy Battle for not stopping the fight. According to announcer Al Albert, Battle tells Duva that Wilson beat the counrt. Battle's judgment not to stop the fight seems solid when Wilson recovers between rounds. Tshabalala goes in for the kill and with Wilson on the ropes, throws a series of haymakers. Wilson throws straight punches inside of Tshabalala's wild swings and eventually drops him with 30 seconds left in the fourth round. Tshabalala can't beat the count.

Damn. I miss Tuesday Night fights.

Paul Banke's trilogy with Zaragoza is fairly well known but imo his fight with Ki-Joon Lee surpasses all of them.

Nigel Benn v Anthony Logan is a nice little war.

Well known to Brit Benn fans who were around in that era, but might have passed many younger fans and non-Brits by.
