He beat a live fighter/ well respected former champion, dismissed any questions about excellent stamina, and showed power by being only the third man to stop Byrd. He re-enforced the skills we knew were already there. If anyone thinks he should have done better, please remember how soon in his career this is all happening, and remember that some were picking Byrd to win. A big step up, all said and done.
I agree. He started out slow, but figured out Byrd during the fight. Good performance, not brilliant.
