Great performance by Groves, But did anybody think...

    Like somebody already said, styles make fights and Groves gives Froch all sorts of problems. He had him in fits on the weekend.

    Froch isn't past it, he came into the fight off the back of his best career win and arguably his best performance (even if you think the Bute fight was his best performance, that was only last year).

    It's more of a case that Groves is/was that good than Froch being past it. Groves deserves full credit.

    Yeah Froch has started making excuses. Saying he wasn't 100% but won't go into specifics. Seems a bit convenient to me but maybe he really did have a bad toe or something.

    as I said at the onset I think he looked weaker than his usual self and IF not then perhaps he has reached his pinnacle. Cfedit to Groves but I just don't thing Frochy was on form.

    either way he'll never beat Ward with that kind of display, and yes all things well Froch can beat him.
