Great performance by Pacquiao, big heart by Margarito

The reason Margarito just kept covering his head and not throwing many punches was because Pacquaio wouldnt let him do anything else.Margarito didnt get a chance to connect much because Pacquaio was using good movement and keeping away from danger while connectig with his own flurries. On the few occasions he did connect it wasnt long before pacquiao was out of danger again. Few fighters at welterweight would have been able to go 12 rounds with Pacquaio and you know it so dont talk ****. Although Cotto didint weigh in at 150 he still outweighed Pacquiao by a lot, as have all of Pacquiaos opponents since the De La Hoya fight and 5 pounds isnt a huge difference to weigh in at. I guarrantee Cotto out weighed Pacquaio by 15 pounds or more by fight night. And btw the cotto fight should have been stopped a few rounds before the 12th. Pacquiao connected with hundreds of punches against Margarito and while he was smaller than him Pacquiao hits hard even at Welterweight and at 150 as you saw in the cotto fight.How the **** did margarito show a lack of heart in that fight? He never cam close to wavering or giving up. And even if he had givin up on his stool he would have had every right to after the punishment he took. Nothing annoys me more then when ***gots like you who have most likely never been in a boxing ring say that a fighters have no heart. what the **** would you know about heart?

 

By the way how many welterweights do you think could take pacquiaos punches for 12 rounds?

 

i think your talking **** tbh, Cotto a similar height to Pacquiao but is a naturally bigger man even if he didnt outweigh him by a huge amount. Obviously Margarito would have done more if he could but Pacquaio wouldnt let him because he has better skills and speed. And im not saying this as a Pacquiao fan beacuse im not one. and i never said a boxer taking a beating has more heart that one gets knocked out trying to win. But thats irrelevant because Margarito was trying to win and did his best. Just because he didnt have the skill to do more aginst pacquiao dosent mean he has no heart *****. Margaritos shown throughout his career he has heart. How many other people do you think agree with you about him having no heart? just look at all the threads being made recently talking about how his heart

 

Sweet jesus the amount of sheer ignorance in the weight-drained argument simply baffles me. He fights at a damn natural welter weight of 147. He was over 150 that night. atsch
