That's all a matter of opinion though. Are you telling me you'd rather watch Chambers against Klitschko (from a yesterday perspective) instead of a fight against Valuev, Gomez, Arreola?

I can tell you this much. If it were not Chambers HBO probably would have shown it.

But you said that Chambers fought him because of dubious rankings. However, Chambers was above evryone you mentioned in every single rankings. Plus bunch of these names lost their lost fights. If Wlad fought them people would be jumping all over him for fighting undeserved challengers.

I respect your response, I just view Holmes overall career and prime years a little fonder than you do.

I apollogise for coming across as arrogant, pompous and pendantic, but on here I just assume everyone is a 15 years old boxrec keyboard warrior till proven otherwise, which you have proven, I won't disrespect you again.....unless you say Tyson is a better ATG than Lewis:lol::blood

No problem man. Actually I hold both Tyson and Lewis in very high regard. Tyson's prime was just too short to compete with Lennox's great, storied career. Lennox was just a more fluid, dynamic version of today's prime Wlad and had a magnificent uppercut for a big guy rivalled only by prime Riddick Bowe.

Wlad's last 6 or 7 opponents wouldn't have lasted more than a combined total of about 20 rounds against Lennox Lewis, the last heavyweight who could actually claim to be an all-time great fighter. Wlad is dull to watch and really not that great. He's effective at what he does but is very limited and would have struggled in an era that contained some decent fighters.

Double standards eh. Chambers was big and skilled enough to dominate Dimentrinko but once Wlad kicks his ass like no tomorrow, then all of a sudden Eddie's too small to be a heavyweight.

    Tsk tsk.

Another boxing fan that has no idea that styles make fights. You don't know anything if you think Lewis would have knocked out all the people Wlad did. This is the same Lewis who was content to box safely in ANY NUMBER of fights and got KTFO cold by 2 journeymen.
