Lennox Lewis and yes you can still be an elite puncher without taking out an elite chin.

Terry Norris is known for his offensive skills, not his legendary whiskers.

Graham was a guy hard to hit on the chin, as opposed to a guy with an elite chin.

Rocked McCallum huh? That is not cracking for the ko win. The fight I watched saw Mike absorb it well and show no effects aside from stung and immediately back on attack. The guy I saw hurt in there was Jackson. And the Mike McCallum I watched needed lots of rounds to gradually get the Skouma's and Mannion's out of there with accumulation late stoppages--why was Jackson not able to absorb body punishment for 6 minutes?

Wilfredo Gomez I would say. A+ punching machine but I can't recall a time where he cracked a solid chin.
Sanchez obliterated him in response of each of his bombs.

not sure ruddock had a great chin. he had a ton of courage and picked himself off the deck and fought back against some heavy hitters but not necesarry a granite chin.

To be fair that was a rather quick, dubious stoppage McCallum benefited from and McCallum threw as many crafty viscious low blows as he did legit bodyshots in there that night(always a ceptively dirty fighter imo, the best right and left uppercuts to the balls of all-time), though Jackson did show a lesser jaw early than most of McCallum's other 154 title foes for sure.

As far as the thread question goes, i think it would be easier to name great punchers who did crack a few elite chins.

This is where i now post the tired, predictable Khaosai Galaxy\Ricardo Lopez mention, even though it's hard to say for sure some of the cans didn't actually have really good durability.;)

The question may be great fighters that cracked great chins ...

Louis v.s. Max Baer, Buddy Baer, Tony Galento

    Dempsey v.s. Willard

It's not easy to crack great chins ...
