Also round 4 of Jose Stable v Charley Scott
Gene Fullmer - Gil Turner really went at it in multiple rounds. They wasted no time getting to it in the first.
The third round of Marvin Hagler vs. Alan Winter.
Hagler's defense was impeccable. I don't think that Winter landed a single strike in that round. Then the aggressive offensive outpouring is a thrill to see. And to think that Marvin was challenging a Brit in his backyard at Wembley stadium..
Maybe I'll do a thread on a pound-for-pound fantasy fight between Alan Winter and Carlos Karate.
It happens to us all
Green v Stracey 1st . On parity with Hagler/Hearns , don't believe me...... keep well.
Nigel Benn v Lou Gent. R3 l think it was ? I stand to be corrected !
Mike, I watched this fight several months back, but checked out the first round again. Simply brutal. On the subject of Green, everyone needs to check out the 7th round of his bout with Andy 'The Hawk' Price. Wow!
Nice one buddy, chat soon. keep well.
Mancini vs. Frias, the one round it lasted was action packed.
One of my favorite fights. The whole thing just so damn good.
Tbh, you can name each one of these rounds as being a great round of boxing that rarely gets mentioned.
Not watched it for years before now, thanks its a truly fantastic round.
My pleasure buddy.
