Roy would have massacred Steve I am sure, but the people calling Collins a coward because he retired after a health scare are stupid.

Collins was as iron chinned as they come but he took big shots as a pro.Benn cracked him hard in both fights, the wars with Eubank and the tough fights he had in the US.He must have felt something wasnt right that he goes as far as having a brain scan.Better safe than sorry.

Yeah then wants to fight years later, Sorry but scans didn't show anything from what i read. He's fine to retire, no doubting he's a tough man but to call a man a coward when there's question marks over that incident i think is poor form from him mate. I loved watching Collins as a kid. I have no issue with him at all just hate the word coward used around fighters.

Because Collins is about as interesting as Steve Davis talking about snooker.

OK calm down pal, there is no hard evidence to support the collapse.

Scans show plenty that is a pretty ridiculous statement.

Steve Collins wouldnt have hit Roy, never mind beaten him.
And as for saying Roy had chin issues then?? Based on what? I dont ever recall think Jones was anything other than a complete fighter until Tarver fights, and even after the 1st fight, did not see Roy getting sparkled like he did.

Steve, you beat the ghosts of Benn and Eubank, Jones, Toney, Hopkins et all would have annihalated you.

In fairness, Eubank was as good as he ever was.
