I was compiling a list of great fights per junior/super division and some divisions (super bantam, super feather) were stacked but when I got to super fly my mind went pretty much blank. I came up with Anifwoshe-Quiroga and Moon-Konadu 1 but that was pretty much it. So, please school me on some great super flyweight fights if you can. Cheers!
I liked Chocolatito vs Rungvisai. Estrada vs Cuadras was a banger, as was Estrada vs Rungvisai I. Tapia vs Danny Romero was brilliant. Kim vs Watanabe and Lee vs Onizuka. Moon was in a bunch of good fights. IIRC Galaxy vs Contreras was quite the scrap. Not a war by any means, but I loved Penalosa's performance vs Hiroshi Kawashima. Doesn't get much better than the two you mentioned though.
The Roman/Laciar trilogy was a good 'un. Honestly, though, most have come in recent years. The Gonzalez/Estrada/Sor Rungvisai/Cuadras quartet made it an even better era on an entertainment level than the 80s.
This is funny Jel. I saw your post, and thought to myself, "I'll check this post out and let Jel educate me on it since I don't know about flyweight and bantamweight fights for the most part. No joke.
