Get bones with marrow and also organs if possible

put water in stewing pot (largest one you have) also some apple cider vinegar if you have some if not regular vinegar

vinegar will draw out the nutrients.

    throw bones and cartlidge in.

    boil

then simmer for 10 hours overnight is the best and add herbs if you want and always top up the water and a splash of vinegar also.

shortly before like an hour or so the stock or broth is done throw in 2 onions celerey and carrots...you may add other veggies but these are the best for the broth * do not buy stock or broth in a box it is flavoured water* also the broth will not be stable for more then couple of days in the fridge unless you freeze it. best thing you can do for your health, great for the immune system

Organ meat is the healthiest. Lions can't even reproduce without it.

Now just to trick myself into eating it!

dave - how long have you been taking this broth? What has been the biggest change? this is considered a superfood by a lot of people.

several years, I also eat liver once a week. Biggest change with the broth was energy and less aches and pains....had an ox tail broth yesterday, 24 hour simmer....collect your bones from your meals make chicken and fish broth, forget spending your hard earned money on powders, this is much cheaper, and a lot better for you!

Actually you are eating something that is full of nutrients that will do wonders for your training, instead of chemicals found in powders...I have heard that some protein powders have rat **** in it...give me a broth anyday! Further more the bone marrow is far better for you then any thing you would get from a vegan diet and will keep you strong...plus eat a lot of fruit.

you may also throw in left over meat...do this when you start your broth and make sure you top off the broth with water and a splash of vinegar as the broth simmers.

  14. Why not add some warm cows blood. Sugar Ray used to do it.

funny you say that the ancient Spartans used to have a soup called black broth that was basically pigs blood.
