Great underappreciated fighters

I hope you only brought his winning bouts lol great story if you remember any other cool things about him please share

 

John The Quiet Man Ruiz.

Sadly the greatness of this man will only be understood many years after his passing. He should be treated like a King while he still walks among us. So ahead of his time....

 

Not great, but a pretty good guy was Leeonzer Barber.

Had that kronk pedigree and was a solid all around guy. What surprised me was how well Dariusz handled him. I thought Barber was going to be the guy with his hand raised and get the decision win in an uneventful bout, of sorts.

But he never did overcome that loss...........not the same way other guys handle their first defeat. Some guys come back at like 80% or so and his 80% was not going to be good enough.

 

I remember he had stamina. He could fight all day it seemed. Then they said he was a marathon runner or something like that.

 

He had the greatest trainer in the history of boxing. Ofcourse he won alot. When you got Stoney on your side the sky is the limit.

 

I think Carlos Ortiz for as good as he was doesn't get much attention. The guy was really good. One of the best at lightweight ever.
