Floyd was even a slight favorite before the corrales fight. I mean I'm a floyd fan but this guy is pretty hypocritical. he builds up guys like baldomir and ndou and then downplays manny's opponents. and this was literally seconds after he says that fans don't give mayweather his full credit on his wins. how can you say that and then say that hatton, cotto, and de la hoya were passed it?
I think you missed the point...for one, people were picking all of these fighters to beat Floyd. I think he is refering to forum posters, and even some boxing writers who have been and will continue to find ways for other boxers to beat Floyd. These same people come in after the fight and say Floyd should have won for whatever reason after it is said and done. And neither Cotto, Hatton, or De La Hoya were prime when Pac Man beat them. These are the victories which put him in the minds of people who do not know any better as an ATG.
This guy on the vid is talking out of his ass. Nobody thought floyd would get beat by goyo vargas, carlos heranadez, angel manfredy, or jose luis castillo. The only pick-em fight in floyds reign at 130 was chico. That was a brilliant performance vs a dangerous guy. Too bad that is the ONLY dangerous fight fraud has ever taken.
