Just seen the face off with DeGale and his opponent, I'm gonna stick a few on a stoppage win for JDG. I think he might cut this lad to shreds and get fight stopped cos of bad cuts around eyes. I seen a few clips and he's not a defensive fighter he will come forward and engage and i think with JDG's chopping/slapping shots he will do enough to get a stoppage.
Agreed I reckon it could be as early as the 4th or 5th round? Im not a big fan of Degale's style but I can see him as a man on a mission in this fight and getting him out of there pretty quick.
Could be mate i think so to he will come forward and look to prove point. The reason i say cuts is because of the scare tissue around his opponents eyes and the loose skin. I don't see it holding up well...
DAMN a lot of you guys predicting bellew to stop cleverley. As much as i want that to happen i don't see it. Clev UD for me.
Yeah I noticed the tissue as well, your right though, if you add Degale's slashing type of punches a stoppage on cut's is a realistic outcome, Im quite looking forward to this particular fight if Im honest.
Same here i hope he puts on a good show. It isn't a gimme but he should win and win in a entertaining battle. This guy i doubt will adopted negative tactics.
Yeah the pole's style is tailor made for him, I would like to see Degale in with a backfoot boxer next though, just to see if he's learnt to cut the ring down better, that was a big part of his problem in the Groves fight?
