    I predict Takam KO 5 or 6 Parker

    but if it's a stinker of hugging and holding
    and 800 referee breakups of the dancing
    grab fest like Waldo vs Fury then...

    it'll be one stinker of a weekend of...

    this is too big of a jump in competition!!! :deal

    it's like when they threw Tommy Morrison in
    with Ray Mercer after he'd been fighting washed
    corpses like Pinklon Thomas and Quick Tillis...

    he wasn't ready...

    after Morrison was almost KTFO by some
    unknown Russian Cab Driver named Yuri
    Vaulin it should have Been a wake-up call
    that Tommy needed a gradual build-up in
    his competition and years to mature...

    but no...

    he ended up on the losing end of...

    the KTFO of the century!!! :dead :deal

    hindsight is 20/20 I guess...

    Takam is looking good for this camp but so is Parker. Hopefully Parker is able to put on a good showing. He has a exciting style to watch.

    This is where we disagree. I'm not sure how this is going to end up, I think that instead of fighting Martz and Bergman in such quick order he should have had a slightly bigger break and fought a step up fighter - OR worked up to an intermediate step (ie, the level AJ has been fighting at) before this level... but I understand the situation that has resulted in this move.

    The trick here is we haven't seen Parker tested enough to know his limit, it'd be as silly for me to say that Parker has this easy as it is for you to say he's going to get smashed. Trial by fire, this is what makes this fight very exciting. Takam's only loss in the last 6 years in against a drug cheat.

    Soooo.... after all this is said and done, if Parker WINS after all this "too much of a step up" etc guff, where does that leave things? It surely would be a HUGE statement?
