Great fight. Strong efforts by both fighters. The only match that makes sense for either right now is a rematch.
I would like to see a rematch a little later. Let Taylor get some wins under his belt and work his way back up at 168 and let Pavlik face Abraham, Sturm, etc. at 160.
Yup. I rather see Pavlik take on some new blood while Taylor pulls himself together. Maybe in winter of 2008, i'd like to see them go again. Or Spring of 2009 after both fighters had atleast 2-3 other bouts.
I dont think Jermain and his handlers will want to take a rematch at this time. Maybe a rematch with Winky. But as a Taylor fan I dont want to see him in the ring with Pavlik so soon

Not to be a dick, but ain't you not supposed to be here? Taylor coud very well avenge that loss if he learns some poise and execution.
Taylor fights dumb he had a chance to finish off Kelly but didn't take advantage of it. Not to mention he should have taken a knee in the 7th.
I know. Taylor does fight as dumb as a doorknob. When I saw him let Pavlik off the hook in the 2nd I began to lace up my gloves and head to Atlantic City to teach that fathead a lesson. Somebody needs to beat some sense in to that man. Pavlik was out and ready to go.
