I think Carlos Zarate is rather incredible and fairly underrated. Should he stand higher than Bob Foster in p4p historical ratings ? I’ll wait and see what some of the more knowledgeable posters have to say.
Practically nothing between them on either front for me. I'd probably back less than 5 fighters to beat either.
Both are consensus top 5 guys in extremely deep historical divisions, so that's highly impressive. Therefore, greatness is arguable. In terms of sheer quality, I think prime Foster was better than prime Zarate. It's not a huge gap, but it's enough for me to be confident in my pick.
Too close to call. Both are arguably Top 5 best in their respective weight class, and they also didn't have much success moving up. I'll slightly lean towards Zarate.
