Greater/Better fighter: Ike Quartey or Sumbu Kalambay

    Let’s say Quartey did nothing different, but the decisions for the Lopez, Oscar, and Forrest fights went in his favor. It would be tough to put Kalambay ahead.

    Good point. I will say that I thought he won all three of those fights which probably would have gotten him in the hall of fame.

    With that said, he didn't get those wins and Kalambay did legitimately beat McCallum which is easily the best fighter that either man officially beat.

    I'm a big fan of both, but I do think Kalambay was the better overall fighter. He was phenomenal boxer that could handcuff his opponents with his skill. Both are hall of fame caliber talents. They simply didn't have the big signature wins.

    I thought the Lopez and ODLH decisions were fair though.

    ODLH deserved to win by 1 point based on the 12th round knockdown.

    Lopez did enough with his late rally to deserve a legitimate draw.

    I think it would be hard for Quartey to get the nod in those fights when he got dropped twice in both fights.

    The Forrest fight I'd agree was a bad decision though.
