Some great information Saint that I didn't know about Galindez
and his connections with the WBA. I just verified through
    research. Thanks Brother.
Though I did know the WBA has been accused of favoring Latin fighters in
    the 70's through the 90's.
I didn't know about Galindez specifically.

I don't think it's right that Serrano got four Puerto Rican officials for his fights either. I'm certainly not about to vouch for the fairness and even-handedness of the WBA. That doesn't mean that it's okay when an American commission tries to pull the same kind of thing.

I think you’re way hung up on nationality = bias as if the WBA bagmen put Stanley Christodoulou and Waldimir Schmidt in, they’re neutral.

Galindez fought in Las Vegas as champion with all Vegas (American) officials. It was supposed to be a title fight then the WBA pulled sanction because the opponent wasn’t ranked (which means someone’s payment didn’t come through, given who they did rank). He didn’t have a problem with it then. He also fought in Italy with Italian officials.

Galindez was the beneficiary of more corrupt WBA stuff than maybe any other fighter in history. If he had to suffer as the challenger to have officials who weren’t Latinos picked by his WBA cabal, well tough cookies. Every challenger who faced him had it stacked against them.

A Venezuelan appointed by the WBA over a Galindez title fight is in no way more neutral than a Las Vegas judge.
