Greater chin; Haggler or Toney

Both have chins of absolute IRON

In my mind there is no doubt that Hagler is the better overall out of the two, and he easily has one of the greatest chins in boxing history, however Toney did move up to heavyweight and his chin was still solid, so for that reason i gotta go with Toney on this one

Hagler. Toney has been down before. Hagler going down againt Roldan was a bad call.

 

:thumbsupI have seen both of them live and think the world of each one. In my mind Toney gets this one by a nod. On a side note lets have them fight each other to see who has the best chin between the two. Sure Marvin is 15 years older but he ain't 60 yet.

True. Hagler had a rock solid chin. Toney has a good chin, but he is not in the same class as Hagler, I think he could have been if he had not gotten so lazy.

I always rate a chin within the weight class, as I think we all should. Marv was a career middle-weight! Would you compare his fukin chin to Vitali?!

 

Toney started his career at 160 and was later eating shots from 260lb guys like Sam Peter. One of the great chins in boxing.

Remember Haglers style is face first, he was more likely to walk into punches.
Toney is a great defensive slickster, so his chin hardly ever comes into question.

Its hard to split MMH, and Toney though, because Toney is old school who tends to ride or roll with punches thus reducing their force, whereas Marvin took them to land his own.
