VERY close between them. Having read pretty extensively on both I've come away with a more favourable impression of Ketchel, but Walcott has the longevity and the resume (probably). In the end, I'd probably reluctantly go for Walcott, but I really don't think there is very much in it.
Yeah, Walcott was the greater fighter and I think perhaps also the better one in a ap4p sense, given his bigger success against bigger fighters. But if they fought I´d strongly favour Ketchel.
What are some of Walcott's best victories on his resume.. I'm not very familiar with this fighter to be honest.
I think that we have to credit Walcott with being the greater fighter, if only because Ketchell died with a significant part of his legacy unfulfilled.
