Ridick Bowe was one of the greats fighter ever. I refuse somebody here to make diference betwen Wlad and Bowe.

Wlad is good fighter but not yet a top dog like was Lennox, Bowe, Tyson or Holyfield.

Who knows? Povetkin, Solis, Chagaev, Arreola, Haye, Boystov etc. could be future Hall of Fame fighters. On the other hand, they might not be. The only way to find out is to fight them.

It is an unfortunate consequence of Wlad's slow and spotty development that it is likely he won't face a HOF fighter until he is moving past his prime and they are entering into theirs, whereas had he developed more quickly he could have been in that situation against Lewis. Sometimes, fate hates you.

I was going to say Bowe without hesitation but on second thought this is close. Bowe's greatest win (Holyfield) is FAR greater than Wlads greatest win whether you say it's Peter, Ibragimov, Brock, etc. But apart from the Holyfield wins, Bowe's resume lacks depth. Wlads list of wins over ranked contenders is long, far longer than Bowes. H2H, Bowe takes it as he was the sturdier and more couragous fighter.

I'm going to give the slight edge to Bowe, who I rank around 15 all time because he's better head to head and his best win was greater than Wlads. If Wlad defeats Povetkin, and Haye though, than Wlad will be higher.

It's a tough question. Bowe had more quality but Wlad had quantity. Bowe choose to take on easier targets like Ferguson and Dokes (although it would've most likely been Mercer had Mercer showed up in shape against Ferguson). Bowe ducked tougher targets like Lewis and Moorer.

People need to really go back and look at Bowe's resume and performance. Remove the Holyfield trilogy, and you are left with two ass whoopings at the hands of Golota. Bowe's most notable wins are Donald, Hide, and Jorge Luis Gonzales. **** me...

Wlad has more top 10 wins by a mile than Bowe has...

Plus, Bowe was afraid of skilled bigs.

It's Bowe, by a mile. He'd have beaten WALD head to head and also 2 wins over prime Holyfield and being undisputed champion eclipses anything WALD has done so far.

Vitali Klitschko and Lennox Lewis were a cut above both of them.

Bowe probably beats Wlad coz he's more destructive and aggressive. Wlad doesn't have the chin Vitali had.
